PINK SATURDAY - CINDERELLA

http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog
Joining Beverly for Pink Saturday today. I'm ready to look at all those "pinkalicious" posts.

How many of us "pinkies" wished they could be a princess for a day?  I've always dreamed of wearing the full pink gown along with a tierra and a wand to make all of those wishes come true.

I grew up watching Cinderella and wished I could be her.
Wearing that special shoe that fit perfectly

When I grew up  another "cinderella story" came along, this one for grown-ups and I have enjoyed watching Richard Gene save the damsel in distress-Julia Roberts.

And now for a real-life Princess.  This was taken several years ago, my Granddaughter Sophie being a princess.
Hope all your Dreams come true.

  7. What a sweet little princess you have in your life. Such a cutie!!

I always loved the Rogers & Hammerstein Cinderella. We have it on VHS, and our VHS player no longer works, so I really should replace that tape with a DVD. The songs were SO memorable... "Ten Minutes Ago It Happened", "In MY Own Little Corner in my own little chair." See, I could easily start singing right now...and I don't think I've watched that movie in at least 4 years.

    Have a lovely day,
